Purpose:
Air-handling units are externally supplied systems for comfort and process air conditioning via a ductwork in a single large room or several smaller ones. The system maintains the same environment conditions in all rooms. The air handling in the unit (which usually comprises several sections) usually features ooling via cold water supply; heating by hot water, steam or electric heater; heat recovery, air cleaning, humidification and mixing.
